The practice of Yoga is a sacred art, that was given to us by the wise men and women (sages and saints) of India as a gift to humanity. It is a gift from the past, from our ancestor’s yogis that foresaw the need of balancing and harmonizing one’s mind and body in this time and age. In our fast paced society, under the constant stress that we live to show up to the things we have to do; Yoga is a medicine and a soothing balm for those that take the time to “sip” its nectar.
Learning the asanas (postures) properly is one part of learning Yoga as a way to heal and balance the physical and energetic bodies. Asanas are for most practitioners a doorway to the vastness of the reality of inner terrain.
Understanding the teachings of Yoga, its sacred texts and devotional meanings, and learning how to apply these teachings wisely as challenges arise in our lives, is another way of stepping fully into the magnitude of this practice.
Deeply understanding how to apply the techniques of pranayama and meditation to your day to day life, in a moment to moment basis, is a priceless knowledge and an abundant well of inner resources.
Embodying the Mudras, Mantras, Bandhas and other techniques of the inner yogas refines your awareness of the inner body and ultimately creates a closer relationship to the inner most Self.
To “own” these most valuable gems of wisdom and develop a vast resource of knowledge, takes dedication, focused time and orientation from a skillful teacher.
I would like to invite you to this journey of alignment of the physical, energetic and spiritual bodies and share with you some of the most beneficial and authentic techniques I have learned through the past 26 years of devoted practice.
Supported by my lineage and by my friends co-teaching this training, you will be able to feel your most radiant self and share that radiance with others around you.
Ashley Sharp is “the other half of my brain” in this training. She has been dedicating herself to Yoga and Mindfulness for years and is a resourceful yogini and wise teacher. She has guided so many back to their healthy bodies and healthy minds with her sincerity and knowledge.
Baxter Bell is a genius in his field of anatomy and skillfully guides the students into body awareness and healing.
Vickie Russel Bell is an amazing teacher, with a huge knowledge of the healing properties of the asanas and approaches restorative practices to calm down the central nervous system.
